The Temora Aviation Museum’s October Weekend 2019 Aircraft Showcase is a two day event scheduled for October 12th & 13th 2019. The event will feature all serviceable aircraft from the Temora Aviation Museum’s collection, which includes the Supermarine Spitfires Mk VIII & Mk XVI, CA-13 Boomerang, Lockheed Hudson, Gloster Meteor, Cessna 0-2A, Wirraway, Tiger Moth and Ryan STM S2.
At Temora you can get closer to the action as you witness a themed selection of Australia’s ex-military flying history come alive.
The two day October Weekend Aircraft Showcase in 2019 promises to deliver a full day of entertainment for all generations, including:
Our Mess Hall serves freshly cooked food and a selection of cold refreshments. Barista coffee is also available and you are also welcome to bring your own picnic to enjoy in our shaded seating or grassed areas.
10.00am – Gates Open
10.30am – “Guided Hangar Tour” – Enjoy an informative guided from our Warbird expert Peter Anderson, the tour will focus on the English Electric Canberra, de Havilland Vampire, Cessna A-37B Dragonfly and RAAF CA-27 Sabre. Time to view the Exhibitions & Static Displays
11.00am – “Winging It” Q&A with Guest Speaker
11.30am to 12.30pm – Flightline Tour (meet and greet with the pilots and engineers)
12.30pm to 3.30pm – Flying Program (all serviceable Museum Aircraft)
4.00pm – Museum Close
10.00am – Gates Open
10.30am to 1.00pm – Flying Program (all serviceable Museum Aircraft)
1.00pm to 2.30pm – Flightline Tour (meet and greet with the pilots and engineers)
2.30pm – Movie
4.00pm – Museum Close
