Lions International will be turning 100 on the 7th June 2017 and we would like to celebrate this milestone by recognising the one thing Lions around the world are known for – Service to others in our communities.
Temora Lions are looking to:
It is simple for everyone to participate by just allowing us to record every community support activity you or your group do over the 100-day period. We want all Community organisations, Church groups, Sporting clubs, Schools, Emergency services, Youth Groups, Service Clubs, Armed Forces; everyone who has the betterment of our community at their core, we want to record the activity undertaken and what number of people were involved via Facebook, email, text message, written note or just call us and leave a message.
Our launch will be at a Free Community BBQ in Lions Place Park on May 6th commencing at 12 noon.
If you would like a member of our team to meet with your organisation in person to discuss this community service project, please call or email the below contacts.
This will be a great event to come along and showcase your club or organisation by wearing your club shirts or name badges encouraging the community to get involved in community projects with you.
