Now, more than ever, we need to support local business, and we can do that by attending TBEG’s Have a Very Local Christmas Late Night Shopping event.

“The Committee at TBEG knew we couldn’t see Christmas come without our usual late night shopping event,” said TBEG spokesperson, Jess Stewart.

“Community members are invited to take advantage of the later hours of our regular stores, added street stalls and food vendors, and grab some family Santa photos with Anne Cooper Photography.”

Whilst no entertainment is provided this year due to covid restrictions, the event still promises to be an enjoyable evening out for local families.

Potential market stall holders are invited to sell their wares by contacting Dorothy Anderson on 0408 632 601. Hosting a market stall is just $20 per stall and an application form must be filled out with an attached Covid Safety Plan and Insurance details. Stallholders will be given allocated positions to ensure social distancing measures are in place.

Temora’s newest shopping complex, Diamond’s and Dust, is now open at 266 Hoskins Street (the old gym) and will be the location for your family Christmas photos with Santa this year with Anne Cooper Photography.

“Our annual Spotto Competition will be back up and running and keep an eye on the TBEG Facebook page for collection and drop off points,” said Ms Stewart.

“Businesses are encouraged to dress up their shop windows for a best-dressed window competition. We will also be holding a Lucky Shopper Competition where shoppers who spend $30 or more in a participating shop or stall can fill out an entry to win a Temora Gift Card.”
