Creative Writing for the HSC

Dr Rae Luckie is a University Lecturer in English and Creative Writing. Dr Luckie is passionate about helping students with creative writing in preparation for HSC English. Dr Luckie will deliver interactive workshops for years eleven or twelve. (This is the last year of the current curriculum.)

Dr Luckie has a PhD in auto/biographical writing (WSU), and a GradDip in Local, Family and Applied History (UNE) she is currently undertaking a master of history focusing on works that challenges the boundaries of history and life writing. Rae is a non-fiction mentor for the Australian Society of Authors; manuscript assessor for the NSW Fellowship of Australian Writers (FAW); and has judged the FAW Walter Stone Award for Life Writing since 2010.
