Moses & Son was established in 1920 by Charles Moses. Charles and his son, Samuel, formed a wool, skin and fur business, servicing clients throughout the south-western parts of New South Wales. Charles' grandson, Bruce, took over the management of the company, and then in 1971 formed B.A Moses Pty Ltd a wool, skin and hide trading company. Moses & Son progressed to sale by tender in 1986, and then in 1989 registered as Wool Brokers. Since then Moses & Son has grown onto a progressive and complete wool marketing company increasing their market share consistently. In essence Moses & Son provide a Wool Broking service to growers in southern NSW. The company tests and prepares wool for sale in their modern warehouse facility, complying with all industry standards. The wool is then catalogued and presented for sale at our Yennora show-floor, allowing national and international buyers and processors to inspect and bid on grower's wool. Moses & Son have the most modern show-floor facility in the Northern Region selling centres. The show-floor company, Yennora Wool Brokers, was formed in 1992 with three other regional brokers: Jemalong Wool; Lanoc/Western Wool; Ostini Wool; In more recent times the addition of the Stenbrae Group from Queensland has positioned Yennora Wool Brokers as the second largest show-floor complex in the northern region. Our team of auctioneers are highly skilled in their profession, allowing Moses & Son to obtain maximum support for their clients. Moses & Son clients range from large sheep station holdings to small hobby farms. In addition to our core service we provide our clients with the following services-: - Quality Bulk classing, Inter-lotting and re-handling facility - A complete range of rural finance products - Comprehensive clip preparation and marketing advice and reporting - Modern warehouse facility - Service second to none - Competitive Flat Rate Charges - Wool Press Hire - Our Risk Management Service provides a complete range hedging tools. The success of this business has been founded on a commitment to meet the needs of its clients. Moses & Son are totally committed to continuous quality improvement to enable us to build on this proud tradition.
