The Mirrool Creek Stock Route east and west from Broken Dam.

Ingalba National Park – 4013.5 ha 25 km east of Ariah Park on Burley Griffin Way

Pucawan Nature Reserve (274 ha), further 6 kms west of Ingalba on the Coolamon Road

Big Bush Nature Reserve (640 ha) 15 km north-west of Temora on Thanowring Road.

Ingalba, Big Bush and Pucawan Nature Reserves are of regional conservation significance in protecting:

* excellent examples of open box and ironbark woodlands, as well as dry heathlands

with low open woodland species;

* several regionally significant plant species; and

* habitat for native animals, including a number of threatened species, migratory and

nomadic birds, and reptile species.

Mandamah State Forest (251 ha) approximately 15 kms north west of Ariah Park on the Mandamah Road

Yarranjerry State Forest (1872 ha) 15 kms south of Ariah Park off the Coolamon Road

Lake Arbortree – 6 kms north of Ariah Park on Cemetery Road.

Excavation of this community funded lake was completed in August 1983 by which time 48,427 cubic metres of soil had been taken from the 67 ½ acre bed of the lake and used to trap some 242,360 cubic metres of water behind a retaining wall.

Ariah Park Aquatic Club have developed the foreshore and created a recreational attraction for the district.
