NATFLY

It was all hands on deck to ensure NATFLY 2012 continued on from the two previous success stories.

Aviators and visitors were welcomed with open arms by local volunteers who ensured the Easter long weekend event was a success.

The massive logistical effort which was NATFLY saw hundreds of local volunteers carrying out essential services, with some local groups taking advantage of the opportunity to cater for the hungry hoards at the airport and raise much-needed funds for their local group.

A full schedule of forums and activities was organised for NATFLY participants, ranging from aircraft workshops to ladies program activities involving local businesses. Market stalls also added to this year's event, drawing a large crowd of local residents.

An Easter Monday debriefing session for organisers now has plans well and truly in place for the 2013 event to be held from March 29 to 31
