NATFLY

It will be all hands on deck to ensure NATFLY 2011 continues on from last year's local inaugural success story.

After being named Temora's Event of the Year at the annual Australia Day celebrations this year, organisers have been working away to cover all bases and enhance the Temora experience for the thousands of visitors expected to flock to Temora Airport for the Easter long weekend event.

The massive logistical effort which is NATFLY will see hundreds of local volunteers carrying out essential services, with some local groups taking advantage of the opportunity to cater for the hungry hoards at the airport and raise much-needed funds for their local group.

A full schedule of forums and activities have been organised for NATFLY participants, ranging from aircraft workshops to ladies program activities involving local businesses. Opportunities also exist for participants to head into town, with a shuttle bus running into Temora for some organised activities, as well as the chance to simply wander about and enjoy all that Temora has to offer.

To make things a little easier for participants, on-line bookings are now available for underwing camping.
