Temora Shire Council has also embarked on the construction of a new facility for the shire, Temora Medical Complex, featuring modern architecture and exceptional facilities including 12 consultation rooms, specialists’ rooms, minor procedure areas and on-site pathology.
Temora and District Hospital provides quality general care, attracting patients from across the region due to its first class maternity facilities.
Specialist services are also available at nearby Wagga and Griffith, along with access to Wagga's privately operated Calvary Hospital.
In the allied health sector, Temora has a range of health professionals including physiotherapists, speech pathologists, dietitians and counsellors.
Dentists and optometrists also operate locally, while the aged population is also catered for at local facilities, with additional support services also provided.
