Bectric History GroupThe focus of the group's efforts was the Centenary Celebrations in 2004, with the book Back To Bectric published at that time, as well as the installation of the historic plaque at Bectric Hall. The group encompasses an area in the south-west corner of the shire.

Back To Bectric is a collection of memories from the residents of the Bectric district, both past and present, and their descendants, as well as information from various meeting minute books, newspaper articles, and records offices.
The book was compiled by Tracey Robinson and published to coincide with the centenary celebrations of the Bectric Hall, in October 2004.
