Station Sounds 2017, a musical showcase, follows on from the success of Freight Train Blues, which was held last October. Station Sounds is a family friendly event to be held outdoors at the scenic Sound Shell Stage at the Railway Station Precinct. It is designed to bring original music to town in a laid back fashion at a minimal cost.
This year we will be featuring three amazing artists:
• 8 Ball Aitken hails from far north Queensland and has seven albums to his name. He mixes a variety of genres into his music but is mostly noted for his fusion of country music with the genres of Australian blues & roots music.
• Jodi Martin is a singer songwriter originally from a property near Ceduna. She has country roots but her music has always diverted towards the Folk genre. She has been described as a female Jack Johnson.
• Rachel Clark is from the Gold Coast and has recently moved from Melbourne to Temora.
She has a new album of original songs to her name and a deep passion for performing
Market stalls, face painting, food and gourmet coffee will all be available at this family friendly event. B.Y.O picnic and drinks (no glass please). Kids are free. Adults $25 with tickets available from Temora Shire Council Offices or here.
Gates open at 12pm….see you there!
